Washington TimesDALLAS, June 20, 2011 — With an eye toward luxury, the 2011 Audi TT
is offered in a sport coupe or convertible. And it is all that and more.
I loved this car when I first drove it a few years ago and
alas, my love affair is still going strong. Fortunately it’s a good
summer car and the convertible option (aka the Roadster) is just one of
the things that will make you and your set of wheels much more
noticeable as you own the road.
The 2011 Audi TT will take your driving experience to the next level.
The 2011 Audi TT will take your driving experience to the next level.
I’m
not a big girl, but my husband is tall so he demands enough room inside
a car to breath; the Audi 2011 will accommodate us both, with leather
seats to boot.
Other standouts include an interior that is all
comfort since in addition to the leather it’s tush-comfy and the TT is
sporting a newly designed front grille too.
The competition in
the 2011 Audi TT market is the BMW 1 and 3 Series options or the
Infiniti G. The BMW 3 Series also springs for a retractable hardtop
while Audi only sports a soft top version, if that makes a difference
then it might put a damper on your Audi TT love.
However, it’s
the TT’s design that is always going to be the head turner anyway. I
like the fact that folks don’t get it confused with another brand like
happens with many cars these days. Choosing between the hatchback coupe
or a two-seat roadster, the coupe has a balanced roofline and in
comparison the roadster has a sculpted body as well – all say “I’m
sleek” loud and clear.
Inside, in addition to the leather there
is a two-tone color that adds that extra pizzazz that some car
interiors just plain miss.
In a coupe or roadster option either
one will get you the turbocharged four-cylinder engine and the all-wheel
drive making sure that the TT owns the road and that means you own it
too. Both trims come standard with the Premium Plus package so it
really just becomes a preference of whether you can’t live without a
convertible or you just don’t want one anymore, thus the coupe is
calling your name.
